Happy Corner History

Happy Corner was established in the 1970 by Coral's Grandmother Dorothy “Dotty” Braden Holbrook, a strong woman empowering others through her own journey, integrity, and love.

Dotty's version of Happy Corner was a women’s apparel business located in Oconomowoc, WI. Happy Corner was a mainstay in the community and brought lots of joy and great fashion to the city! Soon after opening the first Happy Corner store, Dotty opened a second store in Brookfield, WI. During this time, she was on the first Women’s Financial Board of the Heritage Bank of Milwaukee and lectured at the Waukesha Community College on “starting a business” and “dressing for a job interview”.

Dorothy “Dotty” Holbrook, age 88, passed away peacefully in 2019, leaving a legacy that inspires her fiends and family especially her granddaughter Coral Braden Holbrook Ehnert.

Coral always felt Dotty's inspiration for entrepreneurship and in July 2019 decided to follow her passion and revitalize Happy Corner as the Happy Corner Co. The Happy Corner Co. as it stands today is a brand that empowers people to live the lives they love, easily & effortlessly, flowing from intuition & knowing by utilizing multiple methods/techniques and creating positive environments for success.

The Happy Corner Co. instills the very principles that Dotty set in place in her life, empowering others through her own journey, integrity, and love to all.
